One of the best ways to make a vehicle your own is to customize it. And if traveling's your thing, hauling cargo's definitely something you already do. Want to free up a little space in the cabin, for more luggage, maybe a few friends to make the trip memorable? Why not install a roof rack?

You've come to the right place to get one. We've got a huge selection. Drivers around Cleveland prefer to buy from us, actually, over other accessories stores, in Ohio and elsewhere. That's for a few reasons.

Why Buy from Valley Parts?

OEM quality. What you get will be of the craftsmanship you're used to from your brand. It'll come guaranteed to fit your ride, too. Simply select that make, plus your model and model year, and the right rack parts will show up for browsing. That's sure to take a lot of the compatibility guesswork out.

Affordable prices. Where most dealerships mark up to MSRP, we discount. Sometimes, you can even get up to 35% off list price.

Peace of mind. You'll get manufacturer warranty coverage against any unlikely defects in materials or workmanship. Where roof racks from aftermarket brands might just cost you, here, they're investments -- and you made the right one.

Roof Racks 101

A roof rack can be called many things -- a luggage rack by some brands, a roof rail by others. Others yet call them roof racks "carriers" and, in more specific cases, depending on use, kayak racks or bike racks. Some manufacturers even make custom roof rack systems for things like skis and snowboards.

Whatever you call them, what they do for a vehicle is expand its hauling abilities. There are three good reasons why getting a roof rack is worth it.

For one, they're better for hauling gear than a bare roof. Their load bars are resilient, made of rugged metals such as aluminum and stainless steel. Just add crossbars for optimal weight distribution.

Secondly, tying luggage to them is easy. Anchor points make it possible. Just crank a winch over the top of the load, and your gear will be as secure as it can be. You can even use some rope to tie a trucker's hitch or just strap a bungee cord across it. However you decide to pack, you'll be ready to hit the road in no time.

Third, as cargo management solutions go, they're one of the simplest. The often-modular towers and feet usually come with the fitting kit you'll need for installation. In short, assembly is a cinch: you can put everything together in no time.
