Shop Exhaust Parts in Valley View OH

Exhaust going bad? Usually, it's use and age that does one in. A lit Check Engine light might tell you that's happening, sure, but better signs are things like unusual noise from your muffler and exhaust pipe, worsening has mileage, and that unmistakable rotten-egg smell. If these are what you're seeing, figure out which parts may be the causes first; do an exhaust inspection. Then, replace whatever the results require. (Otherwise, do it every 100,000 miles or so for a catalytic converter (cat) and about every 2 to 4 years for a muffler and/or resonator.)

You've come to the right place for that. Exhaust manifolds, tail pipes, flex pipes, oxygen sensors, the isolators, gaskets, and clamps to install it all -- we've got everything you need.

Why Buy from Valley Parts?

Exhaust Systems 101

When engines burn fuel for power, they create noxious byproducts. Exhaust systems capture and safely remove the pollutants before releasing cleaner gases (mainly, carbon dioxide or CO2, and water vapor) into the air. The process is simple.

First, contaminants go through the cat converter. There, metals such as platinum, rhodium, and palladium trap and contain them. Then, the toxic molecules get split into oxygen (O2) and nitrogen (N2). The nitrogen gets trapped, the oxygen passes through, and hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide are burned up; cleaner fumes continue on. Working with a resonator and muffler to ensure proper airflow, an exhaust manifold then sends those gases down an exhaust pipe. Finally, the muffler's tail pipe expels them.
